Native of France, was born and raised in the western suburbs of Paris.

She is a specialist in French-English translation,
with two Master’s degrees:

1. •University of Michigan-Ann Arbor (Romance Languages)
   

2. •Université de Paris X – Nanterre (Translation)
   

Extensive experience as a French language teacher, including at the US
Embassy in Paris, Cornell University and the University of Michigan.

In 1997, she started ARTURUS Translation Services with Ared, where she is a Project Coordinator.

Catherine is also an occasional book illustrator, as can be seen elsewhere in our site.
